Cenetta J. Lee is retired and lives in North Carolina. She worked in the Washington, D.C., school system, teaching reading in the Head Start-Follow
Through Program. Later she joined The Ferguson Library in Stamford, Connecticut, where she held several staff positions before becoming a librarian
and top administrator. In 1989, she founded Heritage Unlimited, a multicultural book business.
During her professional career, Lee has served on several local and national boards. As an educator, librarian, and business owner,
she connects people to the knowledge and information available through print and electronic sources. In June 2012, she was appointed
to serve on the Brunswick County Nursing/Adult Care Home Joint Community Advisory Committee where she and her colleagues promote
the interests of persons who live in long term care facilities.
She is married and has two adult children and three granddaughters.
